Jenna Gets Dumped (Again)
Despite her best efforts to stay committed to her schoolwork, after all ‘tis the season of finals, surprisingly she can’t look at a book and not think of Luke. So, when her string of apology texts goes unanswered, Jenna makes a house, er dorm call with care package in hand. Like a good former girlfriend she presents him with his fav cookies. But they get swiped by a cookie-eater a drama student that mistakes Jenna for a girl scout. Well, at least the embarrassment earned her five bucks.
As promised Luke meets up with Jenna to explain their breakup status. College boy gives her a long-winded spiel about avoiding distractions, so he can focus on school work (big surprise) and he stings her with the breakup cliché that “she’s a good person.” Jenna’s response to the mature split:

Lacey gives her a shoulder to cry on and directs her back to her studies with the books over boys lecture.
Matty Puts a Ring on It

ust when you think Eva can’t get any more controlling and possessive she uses her pregger status to banish Jenna and Matty from exchanging pleasantries. Then follows up her dominant role by nudging Matty to admit his mother is a complete failure parent, or in other words telling her he knocked her up. He smartly dodges that bullet. Good Matty, very good. But then proceeds to do a very, very bad thing: he proves he’s committed to their family by making a date to go engagement ring shopping.
Lissa’s Illicit Affair
Lissa’s one time hookup with adopted bro Tyler has turned into a secretly-making-out-in-abandoned classrooms-affair. Sadie, who doesn’t miss much, is on to Lissa’s new romantic entanglement but is in the dark about the guy. Desperately, Lissa recruits Jatty, unknowingly, to be her beard. However, things take a turn for the weird when Lissa joyfully hugs her adopted bro a little too long in celebration of her 98 final grade. She tries to cover her tracks by abruptly kissing Jake, who is tots down. It works…for a while. Sadie is disgusted that Lissa would go back to Jake and Jake is hyped. Yet, when he sees how creepily protective Tyler is over Lissa he bails. Back to square one.

While the mystery girl is speculated about (sorry, T, Jenna’s not her.) Matty zeros in on Sadie and Jenna as snitches. Sadie brushes off the accusation saying she doesn’t even know an Eva, but Amber (Eva’s real name) hasn’t even been given a second thought. Jenna proves she’s qualified to keep his secret, hence their once super secret relationship. Burn.
However, Eva doesn’t prove worthy of keeping her lips zipped and brags to caffeine-drink addicted Tamara she’s not only preggers, but engaged. Like the domino effect, Tamara tells Jenna in turn Jenna confronts Matty, and everything falls down, more specifically Matty and Jenna’s friendship. She begs him not to ruin his life over this he believes she’s overstepping. At her wit’s end, she washes her hands of the situation and their friendship with this sarcastic kiss off: “good luck, Matty Mickibben.”
There’s an EVAphant in the room
Sealing his doomed fate, Matty and Eva visit the jewelry store to pick out her engagement ring. But before Eva can get her happy ending Matty asks to clarify her dishonesty. What dishonesty? Let’s go to exhibit a: at the snow lodge she lied about knowing the owners of the cabin they crashed at and nearly got them arrested. It was a simple mistake…suurrreee. On to exhibit b: Matty’s mom’s missing earrings were found on the lobes of Gloria, member her? She’s the loose girl from the senior ski trip. Matty approaches her about the hot ear wear and isn’t surprised their stolen. Why?
Okay, brace yourselves. Eva caught wind of Gloria’s pregnancy and asked to borrow her positive pee stick. Gloria peeped using the test to fool Matty into believing she’s pregnant with his child. Gloria tries to call the whole thing off, but Eva bribes Gloria with Matty’s mom’s earrings.
Matty’s reaction:
Single…Ready to Mingle
Matty finds Jenna sulking over Chinese takeout and confirms her initial thoughts; Eva’s a psycho that lied about everything. Free of the baby daddy burden he hijacks Jenna’s lo mein and declares their both single. Will they want to co-mingle?
