Celebrities know that a good way to draw
attention to a good cause is by posing provocatively in the name of
charity. British actor Benedict Cumberbatch did just that for a campaign called Give Up Clothes for Good.
In a sexy new photo, the "Star Trek" and
"Sherlock" star channels Colin Firth, who played Mr. Darcy in the BBC
adaptation of Jane Austen's "Pride & Prejudice." Cumberbatch is
depicted in a lake up to his waist, removing his clothing. The black and
white image was taken by photographer Jason Bell.
It's all for a good cause - the campaign is
raising money for cancer research and is being sponsored by Cancer
Research U.K. and TK Maxx.
Other stars who have also posed for the campaign include Liam Neeson, Elijah Wood, Kate Winslet and Cynthia Nixon.
